Lately, Pat has been so busy with school that we rarely have time for sister-bonding-moments and most of all take pictures of her for our blog. Luckily, we had time to sneak a few photos during our nephew's christening reception over at Greenbelt. Good thing the hallway on the upper floor was deserted and the light was just right for an impromptu photoshoot.

JYJ for Elle Korea

And the Kpop posts begin! These are some of the pictures of JYJ for Elle Korea's December 2011 issue. JYJ is composed of Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong (my bias!). They're formerly members of the band TVXQ but has left the band last 2009 (very dramatic). I am not a camping person, the idea of going to a place without indoor plumbing sends shivers down my spine. But if worst comes to worst and I REALLY have to camp, I'd like to take these boys with me plus wear a big furry jacket and rugged boots so we'll all be matchy-matchy and sing songs by the campfire. Of course the probability of that happening is slim to never, especially when I would actually die of a heatstroke if I camped in the Philippines wearing a big furry jacket.

I know Jaejoong said the word "ready" in a funny way, he doesn't know how to speak English. But he's really hot so that kind of sets off things, yes?

Colors and Prints

Now that I'm looking at the pictures, I realize that my dress is really short. I see London, I see France and I can almost see my underpants. Don't worry, I was actually wearing shorts underneath so the perverts will be pretty disappointed when they see my colorful striped "pambahay" shorts. Hehehe! Anyway, I still can't get over the print on print trend. I feel like there's a lot of prints yet to be discovered that will be great together that I want to try out. And yes, I'm still wearing my ever reliable Zara cape-ish blazer. It's my favorite, I'm sure you can tell by now!

My sister Nina on the other hand is using her new satchel that our mom bought for her. Isn't it the cutest? And the color is perfect too, just in time for Christmas! :)

New Lens

(Denim Vest - Zara, Dress - SM Dept. Store, Necklace - Forever 21, Ring - Asos)

I ordered colored lens (or is it lenses? so confusing!) about a month ago and I did a test shot using my sister Nina as my muse. I know they're not that good, I'm still in the process of figuring out how to hold the lens with my left hand and the DSLR on my right. It's very difficult I tell you especially trying to hold two lens/lenses together. If anyone has some good advice or any tips on using it please let us know! How's everybody's week so far? I can't wait for the weekend to arrive, one of my bestfriends is flying home from Australia tomorrow and I am extremely ecstatic to see her since we haven't seen each other for almost two years. If I didn't have class tomorrow, I'd probably be the one at the airport waving crazily and jumping up and down like some mad person. For now, I'll settle for intruding their family dinner with my incessant chatter. Just like old times.

Subspace

Celebrated the last day of our sembreak by trying out Subspace Coffee House over at Ortigas. It's such an awesome space we can't help but take pictures of everything (thus the photo bombs). If you're into Kpop, this cafe is definitely a must see. You can check out their facebook account here.

Little Pineapple Monster

How cute is our little pineapple monster? He's almost 4 months old now and I can't believe how fast time flies. I don't want our little nephew to grow up just yet, but of course I can't do that. Sorry for not being present in the "blogging world." I will try to look at your pretty posts soon!
