How are you guys? I hope everyone's safe and sound after the horrible weather yesterday. :) Anyway, I started posting at lookbook again after lurking there for so many months now. I got inspired by my bestfriend who just made a new account and I thought what the heck, at least I know there's one person who will always hype my looks. LOL!!! I actually posted some looks there before but I erased it, for reasons I can never really explain. Neurosis? Psychosis? Insecurity-sis? Anyway, I'd REALLY appreciate it if you hype my look. :)

Random stuff

Remember in my previous post I said my Celine replica bag came with a free clutch-ish purse? Well here it is! Doesn't it deserve its time to shine? I took a picture of it with Nina's love necklace from Forever 21. I can't wait to use it for a night out.

Oh, and I also took pictures of some of our favorite sunglasses on top of some clear jars. I know, crazy right? Lol. The jars are actually giveaways from a party I went to and my first idea was to put cute buttons inside (clearly I am not meant for interior design) but I lost  the buttons! So now the jars are just there, empty and all. They look good for pictures though. I think my favorite sunglasses from these three is the one on the far right. I bought it from Make Love Not War which a had a store near our office but they've been closed for a while now. Do you guys know where they moved?

Something Different

Have you gone tired of my face? I know I have! That's why we decided to post pictures of my sisters and none of mine at the moment. The dress Pat is wearing is something I bought for her from Hongkong. Cute right? Plus it's really cheap too! My bestfriend bought the orange+blue version of this one which you can see in my previous post. There's actually a pink+blue version of the dress as well, but someone bought it already. I was actually following her around the store hoping she'll decide against buying it but she really bought the dress. That's life for you. Nina's heels on the other hand, is a gift from my mom but it's too small for me so it's usually Nina who ends up wearing it (I haven't given up ownership over it entirely). That's really one of the perks of having sisters. Small but very inane fact - did you know Michael Kors shoes are almost the same price as Aldo? I find it surprising it's relatively cheaper than the other luxury brands. I am, however, currently salivating on a pair of Gucci shoes which is on sale at Tutto Moda in Alabang Town Center. Maybe I should sell my organs?

A Homage to my Socks

Last Saturday night, me and my sister Pat were stuck at home while Nina was partying it up with her friends. So it's just natural that we decided to take pictures of Pat's feet right? Actually, these pictures are more of a homage to my favorite polka dotted socks from Forever 21. Hands down best socks eveeeer.

Had dinner last Friday night with the family at Bulgogi Brothers at Greenbelt. I think I've mentioned before that me and my sisters are K-pop fans and so when we found out that there's a new Korean restaurant at our favorite mall we were all giddy with excitement to try out the place. We're big fans of Korean food (it's a requisite of being a certified K-pop fanatic. lol!) and our goal is to try out all the Korean restaurants at BF Paranaque (where Korean restos are a dime a dozen!) So far, I think we've finished all the Korean restaurants along Aguirre Road. Hahaha! Anyway, our verdict for Bulgogi Brothers? Food was excellent, service was impeccable and the place was very clean. I'm no food critic but that's really my top three musts in every restaurant. But if you've been to other Korean restaurants like us, you might get disappointed that they have few appetizers than usual. Other than that, it's all good. :) The waitress even had a little note for us when she gave us our bill (see third picture) which I found quite cute. :) Then we had macaroons at Sinfully for dessert. Good times, good times.

stripes on mini stripes

I've wanted to try the stripes on stripes trend for awhile now that I think the trend has been so last season before I finally had the courage to do it. Story of my life. The skirt was actually lost for a few months before our helper finally saw it hanged with my dad's barong. Weird right? Now, it's my flatforms who are missing. I'm seriously considering the existence of "The Borrowers" you know those little people who take your stuff then give it back eventually. Have you seen that movie? What can they possibly do with flatforms? 

Anyway, congratulations to Shamcey Supsup for placing in the Miss Universe pageant. You go girl!

Of bags and movies

This bag is a favorite buy of mine from my recent Hongkong trip. It's a replica of the Celine bag I am so in love with which I have been lusting for since it came out a few seasons ago (or was it just last season, so confusing!) It even includes a little clutch bag (well, it's not actually a clutch but kind of a kikay bag) which I plan to show in another post because I feel that it deserves its own time to shine. Anyway, I wore this to watch Zombadings with the family. AWARD!!! I was literally howling with laughter that my dad looked at me like he almost wanted to disown me. Me and my sisters, we try to support Filipino movies as much as we can. We especially love any movie where Eugene Domingo is in (we're huge fans!) and of course John Lloyd Cruz a.k.a. my dreamboy. Our dad is however a huge fan of Toni Gonzaga, although I think he'll never admit it. I think he's seen every movie where Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby are the "love team" and he keeps asking us why they don't do movies together anymore. Really dad? Personally, however, my favorite comedienne by far is Vice Ganda. I think we're soul sisters from his sense of humor down to his colorful blazers. I wish I can be his friend. Is that weird?
