Had some quality time with our mom to look for Pat's outfit for her Sophie's Night and trying to scourge the last items available on sale. Found the sweater that I've been eying for 70% off. Now if only some cold air would drift this way, everything would be perfect.

There are so many reasons to love the New Year, but aside from the obvious—making resolutions, preparing for upcoming trends, and enjoying the cooler-than-usual weather—one of the things we like best about this year is the End of Season Sale. Yes, we are suckers for slashed prices, especially when it involves our favorite brands showing their pre-summer and post-winter pieces. We are always intrigued by what these local and foreign designers do when the year ends—putting up items on sale or dressing their mannequins with key looks from their new collection. On that note, we are pleased to report that we've finally sifted labels and have gathered the crème de la crème of brands for your enjoyment. This January 14-16, 2011, the 7th installment of The SuperSale Bazaar Holiday Series Part 2: The Big Bang!, has plenty of Holiday wardrobe for those who like to stock up on party dresses or Summer staples and ideas to get you in the hot weather spirit. Whether it’s buying a shiny metallic cocktail wear or hoarding resort wear airy floral maxis, there's sure to be something for everyone.
This post-holiday season, SuperSale is having its Annual Clearance Sale at the start of the year, to spruce up your closets for the coming months ahead. Brands like Diamant, Elizabeth Campos, Moonshine, BeCe Manila, Glitterati, Renegade Folk, NJ sneaks, Eight One, Tan Tease, Cosmopolitan, Suelas, Posh Pocket Shoes, Undernourished, Pearl&Eve and many more are all marking down their prices to give our dear shoppers their belated gifts. The Rockwell Tent (at the Power Plant Mall, Makati) will once again house the veterans as well as new and upcoming names in the industry. The SuperSale Team came up with its list of resolutions too. We’ve promised to provide more variety and we are glad to announce that we have not only invited designers for women but also brands that offer unique items for babies and kids. The Tent is also housing an array of cosmetics and skin care products that vary from organic-made and those classified under only-found-in-other-countries. Your favorite online sellers are going to be there as well as exquisite luxury Jewelry makers.
The First SuperSale Bazaar of the year is bigger than ever, as over 100 brands are putting up their temporary boutiques for the 3-day weekend sale from 10am-9pm, Friday-Sunday. Best part is, since we are still feeling the Holiday spirit, we’ll let you in on a little secret, some brands are going for as low as 90% off while others are accepting pre-orders from their new collection. So make sure you get all the looks and purchase anything you please. See you there!

This New Year is all about positivity for me. Recently, I have been reading posts about haters and negative comments and I for one have been a victim of a hate blog (not fashion related) which made me a target for bullies (yes, it's so high school right? - Think being called ugly while walking down the hallways). I am not exactly the most friendly person on the planet, I just don't talk when I'm not spoken since I tend to say the most awkward things when I'm uncomfortable (akin to verbal diarrhea). The hate blog I received was actually a wake up call for me to dress a little better, learn to wear make-up since as they all say "wala ng panget ngayon" (nobody is ugly anymore) and just basically be more confident. I've actually forgiven my hater and her minions for everything and at the same time I wanna thank them for making me who I am now.
